We’re thrilled to be back at The Open this week - this time in beautiful Northern Ireland - thanks to our fantastic partners, the Golf Foundation. As the trusted provider of junior golf equipment, we’re proud to support their exciting junior activation throughout the week at the Swingzone, right in the heart of the action near the first tee and main entrance.
The Golf Foundation team will be running the junior section of the Swingzone alongside Golf Ireland, engaging young fans with interactive golf activities using Golfway Play and Golfway Champion equipment. It’s all about fun, accessibility, and inspiring the next generation of golfers. There’s something for everyone, from first-timers picking up a club, to young enthusiasts looking to sharpen their skills.
Visitors of all ages can also take part in the Long Putt Challenge, and with The PGA on hand offering free lessons throughout the week, there’s no shortage of opportunities to get swinging.
Last year in Troon, over 6,500 visitors joined the action - from celebrities like Bryan Habana, Colin Montgomerie, and Jonathan Edwards, to disability golf groups brought by EDGA, and young players from Golf Foundation initiatives like GolfSixes, GolfNines, and Unleash Your Drive, there is always a buzz around the Swingzone!
For us at Golfway, this is more than just a week at The Open - it’s a chance to put our equipment into the hands of thousands of young golfers and showcase just how fun, inclusive, and accessible the game can be.
We can’t wait to be part of this special week, see you in Portrush!
