A history of success

The Golfway Programme, previously the YMG Programme (Young Masters Golf), was created in 2001 and has been developed year-on-year by PGA professionals Chris Smith, Nigel Blenkarne and Nick Horrocks, alongside input from the R&A and the Golf Foundation.

At its peak, the YMG Programme was in use at over 800 facilities worldwide.

The YMG Programme introduced thousands of juniors to the game. Many well-known golfers have gone through the YMG Programme, including Matt Fitzpatrick, Georgia Hall, Leona Maguire and Jordan Smith.
