Golfway joins forces with Lincolnshire County Council and Golf Foundation for a fun-filled HAF Golfway Festival!

Last month, Golfway was proud to support a brilliant day of golfing fun at a recent HAF (Holiday Activity and Food) event hosted by Lincolnshire County Council - a fantastic initiative funded by the Department for Education to support children and families during the school holidays.

A huge thank you to all the partners who came together to deliver a vibrant golf festival for young people of all ages and abilities, including Lincoln City Foundation, Premier Education and the Golf Foundation, who provided expert coaching and delivery support throughout the day.

Using junior-friendly Golfway Play equipment, children took part in inclusive, engaging games that encouraged teamwork, skill development and - most importantly - plenty of smiles. Golfway caps and gloves were handed out as participation prizes, adding an extra element of excitement as children made their way around the various Golfway Play activity stations.

We were especially excited to debut our brand-new inflatable bullseye target, and we’re pleased to report it was a hit. Whether aiming for the 50 or simply giving it their best shot, children were queuing up to take part. The bold design and instant visual feedback made it a real standout feature and crowd favourite.

Events like this highlight the power of accessible, active play in creating positive experiences for young people. We're thrilled to have played a part and look forward to supporting more HAF programmes and community initiatives across the UK.

Emily Turner, Senior Project Officer at Lincolnshire County Council said: "It was a fantastic day. Families, children, and young people shared amazing feedback about their experiences, and it was wonderful to see so many families attend and get involved with all the activities and services on offer.

I’m delighted to share that we welcomed over 300 individuals, including an incredible 193 children and young people. This engagement highlights the value and impact of these events in bringing communities together and showcasing the support available locally.
