Golfway was proud to be invited to Bring It On Brum, a Holiday Activity Food (HAF) golf festival organised by the Golf Foundation and Street Games. The event brought children together for an action-packed day filled with sport, activity, and healthy food, helping them stay active and engaged during the school holidays.
Despite a few showers, the rain didn’t dampen spirits. Over 100 young attendees brought energy and enthusiasm, moving through a festival-style series of golf stations set up with Golfway Play equipment. From first swings to fun challenges, the children were able to experience golf in a relaxed, exciting way - many for the very first time.
The HAF initiative is about more than just sport. It ensures children have access to healthy meals and snacks while taking part in positive, inclusive activities. Golfway is proud to play a role in making golf accessible to all and supporting young people in enjoying an active lifestyle.
Tom Sparks, Regional Development Officer at the Golf Foundation, said: “It’s always incredibly powerful to see so many children on the HAF programmes come together for a positive experience with their leaders and also parents. Quite special and rare for parents to get involved in this sort of event too. A massive thank you to Golfway for the support and bringing the inflatable bullseye target - it went down a treat!”
We’d like to thank the Golf Foundation and Street Games for inviting us to be part of this fantastic event - and to the amazing young golfers who proved that not even the rain could stop the fun. We can’t wait to support more events like this in the future!
