Last week at the BMW PGA Championship, the Golfway Area at Wentworth buzzed with energy as school groups, young fans, and golf lovers of all ages discovered the fun of golf, with Golfway Play equipment.
Throughout the tournament, visitors took on our long putt, chipping, and simulator challenges - raising vital funds for the Golf Foundation’s schools campaign. It was inspiring to see so many families and first-time players embracing the game while supporting grassroots golf.
We were thrilled to welcome Anton Du Beke and his son, who joined in the action and showcased some strictly brilliant swings!
None of this would have been possible without the dedication of our incredible volunteers, the support of the Golf Foundation, and the generosity of BMW, who pledged £1,000 for every eagle scored on course to help grow golf in schools.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who visited, played, and donated. Together we’re introducing more young people to the game and helping the next generation of golfers take their first swing. Here’s to building on this momentum and inspiring even more players in the months ahead.
