Over 50 children from four local primary schools enjoyed a Golfway Festival at Chippenham Golf Club as part of their participation in the Golf Foundation Schools Programme.
The school's initiative has introduced thousands of young people to golf using Golfway Play equipment.
The programme also aims to introduce children to local golf facilities, helping them feel welcome and breaking down barriers that may prevent young people from attending a golf club.
At today's event, the juniors toured the clubhouse, played Golfway skill games and GolfSixes mini-league holes, before visiting the driving range and practicing golf with traditional equipment.
Tom Sparks Golf Foundation Regional Development Officer said: "This event is part of a six-week school delivery programme, with the children being invited here, to Chippenham Golf Club, to continue and further their engagement in the sport.
We have ten schools taking part locally, with more Golfway kits in demand, which is great to see as we have introduced hundreds of kids in the region to golf."
Nick Horrocks Golfway Director of Business Development added: "It is great to see so many children here today at Chippenham enjoying golf and feeling part of the community at their local golf club. The members have been hospitable, inquisitive and pleased to see young faces.
We'd like to thank Ben, Alex and Brad, the pros at Chippenham Golf Club, for their continued commitment to junior golf development. We look forward to collaborating on future projects."
